Information we are able to supply

3. How many on-premise data centres do you own?

One - we house an on premise computer room with minimal facilities.

4. How many third-party data centres do you use?

Two. Our primary data centre (DC) is hosted in a VPC environment run by IBM, but located in a Verizon based DC in London. Our secondary data centre is for DR purposes only and located in Amsterdam. This is also hosted by IBM but in a Verizon based DC.

5. Do you use cloud for storing data / applications?

The majority of our data and applications are located within the VPC and hosted by IBM or Verizon.

6. Expressed in percentage terms, approximately what proportion of your data and applications are held in:

  • an on-premise data centre - 3%
  • a third-party data centre - 0%
  • hyperscale public cloud - 2%
  • other public cloud - 0%
  • private cloud - 95%

Yes, all IT staff are in house and located within the Napier House building in Brighton.
